Nike ignite driver

Nike's new driver, the ignite, was launched in April 2004 with 2 main new
developements:

1. Forgiveness
2. Distance.

Current driver technology uses beta titanium material.
This driver uses a new alloy of titanium making it thinner lighter and
stronger and is called NexTi, meaning the next generation of titanium , a
meterial specifically developed by Nike.

With this new material a higher COR value is achieved where the club face
can now be wrapped over the top of the club,
Tiger Woods claims that the new club fom nike has increased his driving
distance, as if it weren't long enough !

Tiger Woods goes on further to say "its the greatest combination of
forgiveness and distance in a club I have ever experienced."

The launch caused quite a stir in shops and is already a great success.
The ignite is intended to replace the forged drivers, not enjoyed by many
club players and mid handicappers.
Clearly the views of Tiger Woods and the fact he uses the club have all
helped to eastablisih it very quickly.

The club comes in two sizes: 410 cc and 460 cc with lofts ranging from 8.5
to 13 degress

During testing nearly all golfers who tried it, high and low handicappers
alike, including slow and fast swingers, all found it a positive
experience.
